Model Trains ...

All you need to know, right here!

The MMRC is an active club of over 100 members. We meet in Upper Hutt and our clubrooms are open every Friday and Saturday.
Regardless of whether you are an enthusiastic beginner with LOTS of questions or an experienced "old hand" the MMRC provides an opportunity for you to come and share our common interest and passion for model trains and the real ones (prototypes) that inspired them.
Usually people are attracted to one or several different aspects of model railways from the locomotives, coaches and wagons themselves to layout construction, building and modelling scenery or electricals/electronics. We cater to all interests!
We will be more than willing to help you get started with this great hobby.

Generally held in October or November, this show is one of the largest in the North Island and exhibits over 30 layouts and trade stalls with fun for all the family.
